No. Wt currently does not have (nor requires) a database layer. If you need one, there are some choices (some of them discussed on our mailing list). None of them auto-generates a GUI.
But keep an eye on Wt, there is likely to be some cool database support in the future.

I don't want to generate gui's, but i want to automate the repetitive task of making data acces objects.
