Can't Select WMenu Item

I have a WMenu item I have been using for awhile to switch the pages in my application (Similar to the Widget Gallery example using internal paths). I need to manually switch to a WMenuItem in my WMenu but I can't figure out how. Can anyone help me?

I finally figured out how to select items with WMenu but I have a problem in that it is changing the internal path to a lowercase name of my item. I need it to not alter the internal path of the user, can someone tell me how to edit the Select function of WMenu so that I can have it not change the internal path? Thank you
