<p>element and its margins are set to null. In opposite, when the table "cell" contains some widget, that widget has non-null margins. Probably that causes the misalignment.</p>

<p>I believe it's actually the 'input' widget which has some (default, browser-based) margin ? Trying to stretch a checkbox is, if I recall, problematic anyway --- I would suggest that you wrap it in a WContainerWidget ?</p>
