Description

The Wt dialog appears to associate the escape key with WDialog::reject. While the user is editing the table view item within a dialog, pressing escape closes the dialog instead of closing the editor. Is there a way to just close the editor and not having to close the dialog?

Hey Thiang-Pang,

We probably should disable this escape behaviour by default, and instead allow this to be set as an option.

Thank you for considering making the escape behaviour in the dialog as an option. I look forward to the changes to be made.

Hey Thian,

I am implementing the dialog change, and in addition, the escape press handling by WItemDelegate will no further propagate. I think this latter change actually solves part of the problem.

Thank you. The escape key no longer associated with the dialog by default after installing Wt 3.1.5.
