I tried to remove the

but whatever I did, failed.

Searching through the code, I noticed that this line is hard codes in the following files:

Boot.html respectively Boot_html.C

Hybrid.html respectively Hybrid_html.C

Is there a specific reason?

Hi, this is because those versions are not supposed to be indexed. Robots are sent to the plain version (Plain_html.C). Which user agents are identified as robots (and thus immediately sent to the plain version) can be configured in wt_config.xml.
