With github wt 4.0.5-31-ga05a7c5d, it is possible to have applications that accumulate large number of event notifications and attempt to send them to the server as a single large request. This can cause silent failures (with default logging) if the request size exceeds server-side limits. An example application with this behavior is attached to #7034.

I am not aware of a mechanism for limiting the number of events sent in a single request, but it might be helpful to have one configured to prevent overrunning the server default limits.
