It looks like the benchmark messuremend at Wt\src\web\WebRequest.C is accidentaly enabled by default.

I don't see how it would be set? Note: the code is executed if that flag is not set. That's a flag that actually disables that log message when running benchmarks.

I thought its IFDEF'ed so that the code is not run in production mode. Not the other way arround.

No, the logging of the WebRequest times is the normal behavior. If it is not desired, then you can turn off info level logging for WebRequest.
